Graphic Doorways, SXSW 2024 – Austin, Texas
I’m off to my next event after completing the mini-series on the 2024 Chinese New Year celebration in February; this time, we are visiting SXSW 2024, which happened in March. Like I’ve done in the last couple of years, I’m starting the coverage at the Porsche exhibit.
This very graphic and colorful doorway admittedly doesn’t look very Porsche-like, but it was part of their elaborate display, fancier than their previous years. I thought it was suitably striking to kick off the SouthBy coverage this year.
I carried both the Sony A7C and the Fujifilm X-S10, though I primarily used the Sony coupled with the Tamron 17-28mm f2.8. While larger than my usual prime lenses, this Tamron wide zoom is surprisingly versatile.
